Yes! We are in-network with Delta Dental and accept Anthem Blue Cross dental plans as an out-of-network provider.
We are also happy to submit claims to most other dental insurance plans as a courtesy. For plans where we are out of network, payment is due at the time of your appointment. If your insurance provides reimbursement, any benefits will be sent according to your plan’s out-of-network coverage.
If you’re unsure whether your plan includes out-of-network benefits, please contact us before your appointment. We’ll be happy to help you understand your coverage whenever possible.

You’ll never feel like just another appointment on the schedule. We intentionally allow time to get to know you, answer your questions, and provide gentle, personalized care without feeling rushed.
We especially enjoy caring for children and strive to make every visit a positive experience. We understand that every patient is different, and we’re experienced in working with children, seniors, and individuals with special healthcare needs. Whether your child is nervous, has sensory sensitivities, or simply needs a little extra patience, we’ll meet them where they are.
Whether you visit our office or receive care in the comfort of your home, our goal is simple: to provide exceptional preventive dental care in a welcoming, supportive environment where every patient feels respected, comfortable, and cared for.

Miles for Smiles was created to help address a growing need for accessible dental hygiene care in our community. Many dental offices have hygiene schedules booked months in advance, making it challenging for patients who need timely preventive care—especially those preparing for surgery or needing a dental clearance before a medical procedure.
As an RDHAP, I’m able to provide high-quality preventive dental hygiene care while helping improve access for patients who may otherwise face long wait times.
I also created Miles for Smiles with children and families in mind. Every child is different, and some children need extra time to feel comfortable, build trust, and have a positive dental experience. Instead of rushing through a short appointment, I provide a calm environment where children can take the time they need to become comfortable while receiving thorough preventive care.
Whether it’s a child’s first dental visit, a patient with special healthcare needs, or someone who has difficulty accessing traditional dental care, my goal is to provide compassionate, personalized hygiene care where patients feel heard, respected, and supported.

Absolutely! Many of our patients continue seeing their dentist while receiving preventive dental hygiene care at Miles for Smiles.
As a Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP), I am able to provide dental hygiene services directly to patients without a referral. My role is to help improve access to preventive care while working alongside dentists and other healthcare providers in our community.
I value collaboration with local dental offices and frequently communicate with dentists when a patient needs additional evaluation or treatment. If I identify an area of concern, I will recommend follow-up with the appropriate dental provider.
Patients should feel empowered to choose the dental care team that best supports their individual needs. Whether you receive hygiene care in our office, through mobile services, or continue with your current dental practice, our shared goal is helping you maintain a healthy smile.

Absolutely! Children are one of our favorite patients to care for. At Miles for Smiles, we believe that a positive dental experience starts early—often before there is even a problem.
We welcome children as soon as their first tooth appears. Early visits focus on prevention, education, helping parents understand their child’s oral health needs, and creating a comfortable relationship with dental care.
We encourage parents to bring their little ones along to their own appointments so they can become familiar with the sights, sounds, and environment of a dental visit before they ever need treatment themselves.
Every child is different, and we understand that some children need extra time to feel comfortable. Unlike rushed appointments, we take the time to build trust, explain what we’re doing, and allow children to go at their own pace. Whether your child is adventurous, nervous, sensory-sensitive, or needs a little extra patience, we meet them where they are.
Our goal is to help children develop healthy habits and a positive relationship with dental care that lasts a lifetime.
